Lina Bo Bardi: Together is a traveling exhibition celebrating the work and influence of Lina Bo Bardi. It was curated by Noemi Blager and combines a multiple- screen film installation by Tapio Snellman and a collection of objects by Madelon Vriesendorp. The exhibition houses a wide range of objects and projections within a family of free-standing elements and a flexible enclosure. The loose arrangement of these playful elements is able to adapt to a range of gallery situations and presents the diverse content within one space and without hierarchy.

Drawing inspiration from the work of Lina Bo Bardi, the design of the free standing elements plays on the visual incongruity of the apparent mass of the tops compared to their slender steel supports. These utilitarian materials subtly express the objects’ hand- crafted origins: the lightweight concrete is bush hammered to reveal gold-flecked vermiculite aggregate and the steel legs proudly display their welded joints. The exhibition launched at the British Council in London and is currently traveling across Europe. For more information about venues please visit
