Fabric Floor

Fabric Floor is a fashion and textiles workspace in Brixton established by Assemble as part of the Sugarhouse Studios network, in partnership with 3Space and Lambeth Council. Fabric Floor is designed to support a range of practitioners from different backgrounds, and at different stages in their development. 

We currently have offers subject to availability for the following:

- Desk (1.5 x 0.75m) + lockable hanging storage (1.74 x 0.8 x 0.55m) + access to a 1.5 x 3m work table in open-plan, shared studio. £264.50 pcm

- 3.2 × 6m ( approx. ) private studio, £690 pcm

- 5 × 6m (approx.) private studio, £1100 pcm

-5.5 × 9m (approx.) private studio, £1785 pcm

The workspace is designed for fashion and textiles practitioners however, other creative practitioners are very welcome to apply also.

Join the mailing list

All tenants have 24/7 shared access to a 19m² classroom, kitchenette and maintained workshop with communal machinery and 1.5 x 3m work table at Fabric Floor. Rent is fully inclusive of all bills and service charges. 

The workshop is equipped with three Juki industrial lockstitch machines, three and four-thread Wimsew industrial overlockers and an industrial Stirovap steam iron with heated vacuum table.
